ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in the year 2012 and the first batch of students were passed out in the year 2016. The department exists with an experienced team of faculty members with excellent academic records and proficiency. Excellent infrastructure, Laboratories with the latest advances in technological and comprehensive study material make the department a class apart. The Department encourages students to participate in Curricular, Co-curricular, Extra-Curricular and Sports activities. The curriculum is being updated regularly with inputs from industries and reputed educational institutions.

  • To produce Engineers who can participate in technical advancement and social upliftment of the country.
  • To excel in academic and research activities by facilitating the students to explore the state- of- the- art techniques to meet the industrial needs.

 

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO 1: Provide Students with the strong foundation in Mathematical, Scientific and Engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems related to industry and research.

PEO 2: Impart the state-of-the-art technology to the students in the field of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and to foster innovation, invention and entrepreneurship by enabling the students to transform their ideas to proof-of-concepts for high-tech Industrial and control applications.

PEO 3: Provide opportunity for the students to work as a part of team on multi-disciplinary projects associated with instrumentation based systems and to inculcate professional and ethical attitude, communication skills and the life-long learning skills needed for the successful professional career.

PEO 4: Emerge as successful and professional workers who work and communicate successfully in industrial teams across the service area and beyond. (Professionalism, Teamwork, and Leadership).

PEO 5:Enhance the economic well-being of the community through technical expertise, critical thinking, and teamwork and to adapt to new and emerging technologies to keep updated with electronics and instrumentation technology practice.
