The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering marches towards creating engineers capable of attaining supremacy in every new technology and innovation with commitment and enthusiasm The Department offers a stimulating environment for its students to do their project work and to identify and seek solutions to the problems of industries. A student passing out of this Department will have the ability to build, motivate and lead project teams effectively and will have the confidence to solve complex technical problems and organizational issues.

Curriculum

Electrical and Electronics Engineering curriculum which integrates the fundamental concepts with skill oriented subjects are necessary for immediate employment. RTOS, Microcontroller, Embedded networking tools are introduced in the curriculum. The Laboratories have been well planned to provide professional skills to students in all areas.

The Courses

The students of the Department have been encouraged to participate in numerous seminars. The students have presented a number of papers in various technical symposiums and conferences. The Department organizes industry-institutions interaction at regular intervals by bringing in several Resource Personalities from various IT companies. These seminars highlight  the growth of software industry and also concentrate on subjects in which a student can groom himself, before entering dynamic revolution.

 Further, the Department encourages the students to undergo practical in-plant training programs to acquire a real time practical knowledge and experience of various applications in today's computer field.

The EEE Association brings up a forum to train the students in the fields of communication, stress, interview, body language, aptitude test etc. Every year the Association conducts National Level Technical Symposium named as “RADIX” which kindles the students to bring out their excellence. The Association conducts events such as seminars, group discussions and guest lecturers in the field of Electrical Engineering. Courses are conducted in the field of hardware, RTOS, Device driver development and Microcontroller based system Design.
